Michel détient un diplôme en gestion hôtelière de l’Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec et a étudié en relations industrielles à l’Université Laval.
Il est dans le domaine de l’hôtellerie depuis 40 ans et a occupé plusieurs postes tant au niveau opérationnel qu'au niveau administratif.
Il a également été consultant en hôtellerie pour Horwath Int’l, une firme internationnalle spécialisée dans le domaine touristique et hôtelier.
Il a travaillé pour des chaînes hôtelières telles que CP hotels (maintenant Fairmont Hotels), Holiday Inn, auberge des Gouverneurs, Allegro hotels(Caraibes) et Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Il a participé et a été le maître d’œuvre pour le développement et l’ouverture de plusieurs projets hôteliers dans la Province de Québec et autres destinations.
Il travaille actuellement sur des projets clefs en mains. C’est-à-dire qu’il participe à l’élaboration d’un projet hôtelier tant au niveau de la planification des espaces, de l’élaboration du plan de mise en marché, de la structuration du personnel, que de la mise en place du plan opérationnel et administratif. Par la suite, il démarre le projet et en assume la direction.
De 2005 à 2008, il a ouvert deux hôtels de la bannière Starwood Hotels & Resorts et le Centre de Congrès et d’Expositions à Lévis.

Michel has a degree in hotel management from the Tourism Institute of the Province of Québec and has studied in industrial relations at the Laval University.
He is in the hotel trade since 40 years and has occupied different positions at the operationnal and administration levels.
He was also an hotel consultant for Horwath Int’l, an international firm in the tourism and hotel sectors.
He worked with different hotel chains such as CP hotels (now Fairmont Hotels), Holiday Inn, Auberge des Gouverneurs, Allegro Hotels(Caribbean) and Starwood hotels & Resorts.
He participated and was responsible for the development and opening of several hotel projects in the Province of Québec and other destinations.
At the moment, he works on differents projects, using the turnkey concept, being involved in the elaboration of the project, the marketing plan, the structuration of the operating team and the positionning of the operationnal and administration structures.
He also gets involved in the day to day operation of the project and its feasibility.
From 2005 to 2008, he has opened two hotels for Starwood Hotels and a Convention Centre in Lévis, Québec.
